The fund employs an indexing investment approach designed to track the performance of the Bloomberg U.S. Treasury 3-10 Year Index. This index includes fixed income securities issued by the U.S. Treasury (not including inflation-protected bonds, floating rate securities and certain other security types), with maturities between 3 and 10 years. At least 80% of the fund's assets will be invested in bonds included in the index.

Short-term treasury yields jumped up on Friday after Federal Reserve governor Christopher Waller said that the U.S. central bank can be expected to continue raising interest rates since inflation is “still much too high.” “Monetary policy needs to be tightened further,” said Waller in a speech in San Antonio on Friday.

Trading activity on the Tradeweb European ETF marketplace reached EUR 51.1 billion in February, while the proportion of transactions processed via Tradeweb's Automated Intelligent Execution (AiEX) tool was 82.8%. Total consolidated U.S. ETF notional value traded in February 2023 amounted to USD 54.3 billion, an increase of 23% year over year.
