It holds interests in the Ying project located in the Ying Mining District in Henan Province, China; Gaocheng (GC) mine located in Guangdong Province, China; Kuanping project located in Sanmenxia City, Shanzhou District, Henan Province, China; and La Yesca project located in northwest of Guadalajara, Mexico. The company was formerly known as SKN Resources Ltd. and changed its name to Silvercorp Metals Inc. in May 2005. Silvercorp Metals Inc. is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.

Silvercorp Metals Inc (TSX:SVM, AMEX:SVM) earned a repeat ‘Buy' rating from Canaccord Genuity (TSX:CF, LSE:CF) analysts following the release of its year-end production results. The analysts also reiterated their price target of C$5.50 for the Canadian miner, which produces silver, gold, lead and zinc in China.

Silvercorp Metals Inc (TSX:SVM, AMEX:SVM) has reported solid production and sales figures for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2023, showing it produced approximately 6.6 million ounces of silver, 4,400 ounces of gold, 68.1 million pounds of lead, and 23.5 million pounds of zinc. The company said the numbers represent increases of 8%, 29%, and 6%, respectively, in silver, gold, and lead production, and a decrease of 12% in zinc compared to the prior year.
