The index is composed of a portfolio of exchange-listed real estate investment trusts ("REITs") in developed markets meeting the business, financial, socially responsible investing ("SRI"), and green investing criteria, as determined by IdealRatings, Inc. Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets in REITs that meet the index's SRI Screening and Green Screening criteria as of the most recent reconstitution of the index. It is non-diversified.

The ETFB Green SRI REITs ETF (RITA) invests in stocks of companies that follow the values and teachings of Shariah law. While new, the index provides longer history. I will compare RITA to the unrestricted iShares Global REIT ETF (REET) to see how RITA's screening affected return and risk for investors.

The fund tracks and the index is composed of a portfolio of exchange-listed real estate investment trusts (“REITs”) in developed markets meeting the business, financial, socially responsible investing (“SRI”) criteria, and a number of green investing criteria.
