Barclays PLC was founded in 1690 and is headquartered in London, the United Kingdom.

Even though sales beat the firm's estimates, Barclays reiterated its Underweight rating and $10 price target in a note titled "One step in the right direction.

Andrada Mining Ltd (AIM:ATM, OTC:AFTTF) said it has appointed Barclays' investment banking arm as a strategic adviser after receiving "numerous" unsolicited approaches from potential partners for the development of its Uis lithium mine in Namibia. The board has decided to undertake a strategic assessment of these advances, it said, with a focus on identifying a partner with appropriate technical and financial capabilities for expediting the lithium opportunity, who will invest in the subsidiary that holds the ML134 mining licence at Uis.
