The fund primarily invests in the fixed income markets of the United States. It seeks to invest in securities of companies operating across the diversified sectors. The fund invests approximately 60% of its portfolio in convertible securities and rest in lower-grade non-convertible income securities. It employs fundamental analysis to create its portfolio. Advent Claymore Convertible Securities and Income Fund was formed on April 29, 2003 and is domiciled in the United States.
