Argo Blockchain PLC (LSE:ARB, OTCQX:ARBKF, NASDAQ:ARBK, ETR:0XP) has announced the resignation of chief financial officer and executive director Alex Appleton following the successful sale of Argo's Texas-based Helios facility to Galaxy Digital (TSX-V:GLXY) Holdings on 29 December 2022. Appleton, who departed to pursue other opportunities, commented: "I am very proud of what we have achieved over my time with Argo.

Argo Blockchain PLC (LSE:ARB, OTCQX:ARBKF, NASDAQ:ARBK, ETR:0XP) told investors it is again in compliance with Nasdaq's minimum bid price rule. The crypto miner, in a statement, said it had received a letter from the listing qualifications department of The Nasdaq Stock Market informing the company that it has regained compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rules, and, it now considers the matter closed.

Argo Blockchain PLC (LSE:ARB, OTCQX:ARBKF, NASDAQ:ARBK, ETR:0XP) 147 mined bitcoin (BTC) or bitcoin equivalents in December compared to 198 the month prior, according to the group's latest operational update. The month-on-month reduction was due to the curtailment of mining operations at the Helios facility in Texas in response to a winter storm that impacted much of the US.

Crypto miner Argo Blockchain has sold its key data centre though expects to continue operating there. This smells like a fire sale but does improve the company's chances of survival in my view.
